Kept trying to deflect the thoughts

that churned inside my head...

I'm trying to convince myself

that we are only friends

No matter what I try to do

the longing never ends...

I just can't seem to turn you off

no matter how I try

When saying that there's nothing there

I know it's just a lie...

So what am I supposed to do
