Always loyal to fault

and wounds so easily

A force of nature to respect

destroying terribly...

Instinctualy predictable

but who can know the heart

Emotions the Achilles heel

that keeps him far apart...

It's funny how it all aligns

the white noise disappears

The hope that lives inside of me

has overcome my fears...

I truly am most satisfied

I couldn't ask for more

My eyes can see the angel now

he's walking through the door...

Loneliness

Some things in life are hard to bare

when loneliness arrives

A gradual wilting of the soul

some how it still survives...

From time to time a ray of hope

but soon it fades away

And then you start to realize

you face another another day...

I dream about you every night

and race into your arms

We dance until the morning light

an evening with your charms...

Some day...I won't have to dream
