Hello my dear, I'm here again

I know it's been a while

I brought your favorite flowers Love

their scent would make you smile...

You've been asleep so very long

the saplings now are trees

Forty winters, and one more

tonight, it's supposed to freeze...

I sensed that you were calling me

was more than just a thought

A flood of distant memories

my heart reached out and caught...

For just a moment, maybe two

I felt that you were near

The heartstrings pulling like before

your voice, could almost hear...
