Michael

The clouds grow darker by the hour
there's madness in the air
We should have left when we had time
debris blows everywhere...

The howling winds begin to cry
a haunting diatribe
Bands of water strike with force
as winds and rain collide...

The trees assaulted mercilessly
they're shaken to the core
They're caught up in a frenzied state
they bend and bow some more...

One by one they start to fall
the roof begins to tear
Fear begins to take control
we huddle now in prayer...

For hours much uncertainty
and then a sudden calm
I hope up the closet door
and everything, is gone
