The heartstrings tugging once again

I thought of you today

A memory stopped to say hello

decided it would stay...

All day long I've been detached

my friends say you ok?

I can't let go of how I feel

I'm struggling hard today...

A part of me says go ahead

be bold and risk it all

And yet another voice within 

"be careful you don't fall"..

The battle rages on and on

my mind and heart at war

I'm standing at the fork again

and this time, I want more...
