a great pandemic storm...

Who among us will survive?

we hunker down and hide

Somber faces telling us 

a thousand more have died...

Please be safe my dearest friends

we'll make it through somehow

on bended knee, I bow...

She channels life to all she sees

her way to cope with strife

So much was taken in her youth

a lonely wounded wife,,,

The flowers greet her with a smile

She sings her favorite melodies

and laughs at how they strive...

Having now secured my leave
