Sometimes the words are hard to find

the mind gets in the way

But when the heart is free to speak

it has so much to say...

Throwing caution to the wind

a torrid love affair

Reckless in the dire pursuit

and reason doesn't care...

I can't explain what's going on

not sure of what to say

Just yesterday we both were friends

but something's changed today...

Somehow you reached inside my heart

and gently wrote your name

I've fallen so in love with you

I'll never be the same...

A flash of lightening paints the sky
