a part of me just died...

A piece of paper and a pen

a poet's broken heart

Waiting for the the avalanche

that surely soon will start....

Tears begin to fall like rain

they splash upon the page

The search for meaning and the path

a prophet and a sage...

Words begin to form at last

they surface to the light

It's time to bare the soul again

the poet starts to write...
