Winds of Change

The winds of change are blowing now

I feel it in my soul

It's time for me to leave this place

so many dreams, it stole...

It's time to close the chapter now

been living here too long

The years of waiting patiently

I'm not where I belong...

There has to be a place for me

where I can thrive again

Perhaps someone to share my life

who's more than just a friend...

Blow on strong winds, do not stop now

I'm ready now to leave

Please take me to another one

to whom my heart will cleave...

The Dream

I've got another chance at this

But time is running out

I'd like to make a final move

I keep on fighting doubt...

The years have crept up on me fast

there's not too many more

I'd like to live where time stands still

and walk along the shore...

A house along the beach seems right

a place to soothe my soul

Perhaps I'll find a partner there

to share my fishing pole...

We'll make new friends and settle down

and even change our names

She'll choose the perfect one for her

and I'll be Captain James...

At night we'll sail into the deep

and look up at the stars

From time to time we'll set up camp

pretend the island's ours...

I hope that I can find the one

who'll want to share this life

The dream that keeps on calling me

the soulmate and my wife...
